Dr. Alexey Kamenskiy's lab at the University of Nebraska Omaha focuses on finding innovative solutions for patients with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) that often leads to severe complications like amputation. The lab is developing a new method using a microneedle catheter to deliver a chelating agent called EDTA directly to calcified lesions in arteries to remove arterial calcium.
