Professor Paul G. Spicer's research lab at the University of Oklahoma focuses on addressing the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomic research in American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. The lab promotes community-led research and emphasizes the importance of engaging Indigenous communities in discussions about their genomic research needs and priorities.
