Research Focus
Dr. Jennifer A. Kim's research lab focuses on tackling post-traumatic epilepsy, a condition impacting many individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries. By leveraging advanced data analysis techniques, including machine learning and neuroimaging, the lab aims to develop automated tools for predicting who is at risk for developing epilepsy after injury. This work could significantly improve patient outcomes by enabling early interventions based on individual risk factors.
