Research Focus
Dr. Ravi S. Kane's lab focuses on creating innovative vaccines to tackle influenza viruses, including those responsible for historic pandemics. By engineering the protein hemagglutinin and its presentation on multivalent scaffolds, the lab aims to develop vaccines that elicit strong immune responses against the conserved parts of these viruses, which could help in managing seasonal flu and preventing future pandemics.
