Research Focus
Dr. Saveez Saffarian's lab focuses on understanding how the HIV virus assembles and matures into an infectious form. By exploring the molecular structure and dynamics of the immature HIV lattice, the lab seeks to develop new antiviral therapies that inhibit this maturation process.
