Research Focus
Dr. Luis Solorio's research lab focuses on combatting aggressive forms of cancer, such as pancreatic and breast cancer, by understanding and manipulating the tumor environment. The team is working on innovative strategies to enhance drug delivery directly to tumors and to disrupt the processes that allow cancer to spread to other parts of the body.
